		<content type="html"><![CDATA[I was a bit shocked when I joined my first online networking site (Facebook) only to discover that almost everyone I have ever known had beaten me to it! I think we're getting closer and closer to a world where a large part of our socialising is done online. A large part of this is convenience, but I also think there's a great novelty about these sites - that's one of the things I was attracted to. I'll be interested to see what happens when the novelty wears off. I hope we are still able to make time for face to face contact with friends and loved ones.]]></content>
